A Little Bit About Me
Salaams everyone! I believe that life is best lived when shared with someone special, and I'm here to find that genuine connection. I realize that living life by myself is not it, and that we all need that companion and connection in our lives. I'm a foodie (I love trying new cuisines and I also love cooking for my mom and for my friends - my mom unfortunately did pass a few months ago so now I'm not cooking as often as I'd love to), and I love going to the beach when I have the chance. I'm a music enthusiast but I love listening to music from around the world - so don't ask me who my favorite American artist is. I don't know, I just listen to the music if it sounds good, LOL! I also enjoy nature, walking and working out (taking care of my health is important). I appreciate meaningful and intellectual conversations, kindness, jokes and laughter, and being able to share together (being a foodie is a plus because we can share our love of food together among other things we hopefully would have in common!). I'm a firm believer in us working toward being better versions of ourselves each and everyday. I had to work on being a better version of myself, and I'm still a work in progress. We all have flaws but if we know how to uplevel ourselves and stay positive, pray our 5 prayers daily, read Quran, go to the mosque and just strive to be better Muslims and better people, things can work out beautifully. Whether we're exploring new places, trying a new recipe, or simply enjoying each other's company, I'm excited to build something meaningful and real.
