A Little Bit About Me
I am a British-born Muslim woman of Pakistani heritage. I come from a well-rounded and closely knit family that shares both the ups and downs of life, sharing in the fun of the former and supporting one another in the latter. My family and friends have described me as easy-going, upbeat, energetic and having a sense of humour. Growing up near the rural North West, I enjoy the great outdoors. A perfect summer’s day would be a trek in the countryside with family and friends to find an idyllic view by which to enjoy a picnic and good conversation. I prefer more indoor pursuits in the colder months such as reading or catching up on favourite shows, except in the increasingly rare spectacle of deep snow. As a practising Muslim I try to adhere to the five pillars and further my understanding of Islam through reading and lectures. Longer term, I would like to learn Arabic.

Congratulations for making it this far! I feel it would help us both to be open about some of our expectations. I personally do not observe the practices of Milaad and Khatam.
