A Little Bit About Me
Salam Alaykum. Humility Gratitude Honesty Compassion has become my guiding principles.I am a full on optimist (glass is always mostly full). I place priorities in Faith, Family and Work, in that order. I pray 5 times Alhamdulillah, and care for my daughters and aging parents aH, and maintain full time work aH. All three are equally important to me. I consider myself a lifelong student of Islam, continuously seeking to remind and improve myself through education and being around other practicing Muslims. Outside of work, my spare time is spent with my two daughters, parents and siblings, and masjid and community. Masjid plays a big role in my life. I am actively involved in the local masajids, Sunday school teaching youth groups, and outreach/interfaith activities. I would like someone who is willing to walk alongside, and/or encourage me in these. I am an avid coffee-drinker.I like traveling, sight seeing, park and outdoor activities (not a hiker though!), lakes and beaches.I dont have any specific hobbies. Every so often I would pick up fun things to learn with my daughters like cake decorating, crocheting or even iceskating.

What I Am Looking For
I am looking for a practicing Muslim who prays 5 times, and a masjid-goer. A strong shoulder to cry on, a clear mind to laugh with, someone to nonstop talk with, and a forgiving heart - because yes, I will make mistakes! I dont appreciate foodies. If you live to eat, I am not your type :) no offense.

Turn offs: - lack of humility and gratitude. Every moment good or bad is a blessing. Be thankful for both good and bad experiences in life because they are from Allah SWT - Wanting to win every talk, every argument and always wanting to be right - flip at people without consideration or communication. I dont want to feel like I am walking on glass!
