A Little Bit About Me
Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu!

I pray you read this in a blessed state of iman and health :)

I am a teacher working in an Islamic School in Melbourne. I teach Arabic and Islamic studies Having completed my Bachelor of Islamic Studies. I plan to either do my Masters in this area or move into a different field Insha'allah.

I am very open minded and friendly, however I have always had Deen as the no 1 priority in life.
I am passionate about giving Dawah and spreading beneficial knowledge, as well as teaching the beautiful and vast language and teachings of the Holy Quran. However regardless of how much knowledge one may aquire, I acknowledge and admit that every human being is need of Allahs guidance and protection and one constantly needs to work on perfecting their character and learning from their mistakes and renewing their iman.
I give preference to islamic teachings over cultural practices and would like to lead a simple yet fulfilling life with my spouse and family.

I am a hobby artist, I love to read, watch, and cook and just try new things (especially food!). I am also passionate about media, film making and writing. I love travelling and I am always up for an adventure, and I am hoping to find a companion in this soon! I also attend islamic lectures regularly and listen to them online.


I come from a very good family and I am a family girl in all. I really respect elders and I love kids. But I am pretty social too, and have a great supportive friend circle.

What I Am Looking For
A guy who also has Deen as his No 1 priority and is passionate about giving dawah and helping the community. Who wants to live life to its fullest, but of course within the boundaries of Islam. Who is caring, loving, intelligent, funny and well mannered.

I wish to complete half my deen by means of marriage and I understand this to mean that my spouse will help me get closer to Allah, and I will help him also. We are all on the journey back to Allah, and finding the right companion in this journey can make all the difference.

Other than that, some realistic expectations would be:

- Is adequately educated having completed a degree in any field and is able to provide for the family
- lives in Australia and plans to live or eventually move to Australia. (Although circumstances may alter any initial decision with the Will of Allah)
- Has good/ excellent English. (Although I can communicate in Bengali and Arabic, English is still my first language)
- Prays 5 times a day with a regular connection to the mousqe
- Practices Islam as a way of life rather than culture, tradition or worldly desires and expectations
