A Little Bit About Me
I am based in Dubai, UAE, though born in India to parents who are ethnically of Bengali origin. I grew up in Jeddah (KSA) but studied in international schools (and NOT the local Saudi ones, so no need to get scared :P ) and was therefore blessed to have performed the Hajj even before I was a teen (Thanks to the close proximity of Jeddah to these two cities). I have been working as an economist within the airline industry for the past year but plan to start my consulting firm, as I wish to channel all my capabilities into "meaningful purposes" and to "control my own destiny" :) .
I do offer my prayers "usually" and do observe other "rituals" as have generally been prescribed to Islam (i.e. Honesty, Integrity and of course fasting and paying alms to the poor and needy etc).
I do all the household chores myself and don't expect anyone else to do. [But I need to be given ample time to do them (yeah, I work slowly but I make sure they are done very well)]. I don't like people who are "bossy" or manipulative.
I do overindulge in, and become obsessive with, my research and studies (well in my spare time, if I am NOT doing household chores, then it's reading HISTORY, POLITICS, ECONOMICS and FINANCE), and that can sometimes be disappointing to people around me. I do get "argumentative" and "lose my cool" when the topic of discussion is something that I have read a lot about, and see someone speaking gibberish. Yeah, this has caused a lot of friendships to "go sour" although it has never been my desire to see my friends or associates, regret their friendship or association with me. I always try to treat people (of any race, gender, and even religion) with dignity and respect, and thus expect the same from others. In addition to this, most of my time is spent on working (office work or household chores) OR reading (books, newspapers and journals) and thus I have very little time for socialising; so that can be a drawback in me which you may not like.
And by the way, no women needs to fear of me treating her as a maid or nanny [NO I don't intend to do that, I have grown up seeing such disgusting behaviour, not just within my extended family but also in the country I grew up (i.e. Saudi Arabia), and made a vow to myself that I would prefer to remain single/alone than treat anyone [be it a woman or a man] with disdain. I am going to treat you with dignity and respect, but I do expect the same from you ;) ].
I do adore being disciplined (and extremely selective and choosy) and expect others to do the same (when dealing with me) ; but I don't like to rush things and do everything in life in a leisurely fashion but try to do them very well. That also means, I prefer less responsibilities so that I can handle them carefully. Apart from Honesty and Humility, Discipline is extremely important for me. I always try to "prepare for the WORST, but hope for the BEST" - and that requires constant reading and planning.

What I Am Looking For
First of all, I am open to all women (of any sect, race or skin-tone or ethnicity - these are all "man-made barriers" and serve no purpose at all). And I am also open to women of all linguistic background [although it would be great, if you are fluent in English ;) ]
I am looking for an honest, modest, extremely disciplined, selfless (and NOT selfish) and humble woman who doesn't prefer to be boastful and is neither arrogant nor obsessed with materialism. I also don't prefer "gossipers" or women who constantly compare and judge people with others. I would appreciate if she is very disciplined and has clearly laid out her goals or purpose in life - and also bears in mind (and appreciates) that I too have my clearly laid out aspirations/goals in life and don't want her to be a "hindrance/obstacle".
It is also important for you to be "physically fit" and NOT overweight/obese (If you are, then Nevermind, it will only take six months to a year to disappear, under my supervision because I am extremely fit ;) ] NO I won't "torture" you but I don't want you to die of atherosclerosis or heart-attack.
I hope I am NOT asking too much from anyone ;) All said and done, I would only advise all the ladies to "select carefully" and hope you get to meet someone who fulfills your expectations.
