A Little Bit About Me
Assalamualikum,


I would describe myself as a soft hearted, passionate, ambitious, and practicing. I practise & cherish good manners. I love & am most thankful of my religion. Alhamdulillah and Allah is our Assessor.

I pray 5 times a day and I am always learning about my religion as it is very important to me. I try to improve my knowledge in the deen by attending classes at Ebrahim College, Al-Kauther, etc and also attending regular halaqah and tajweed classes. I enjoy learning about all sorts of things, which may or may not be useful, including islam, history, self-sustenance, etc.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends (I have a small group of friends). I love eating out and enjoy travelling, visiting new places and experiencing new things

I enjoy reading books, cooking, spending time with my siblings, and going to the museums.

One of my passion is helping vulnerable people hence why I did a undergraduate BSc Hons degree in Psychology. I am currently working as a domestic violence advocate (it usually scares people away) and I love what I do.

What I Am Looking For
I am looking for a practising muslim who has imaan some one who accept me for who I am and would be kind and care for me.

I am looking for someone who is God fearing and follow the Sunna of the prophet Muhammad (S.A.W); kind, honest, responsible, mature, working and most importantly prays 5 times daily, fasts and gives Zakah.

Since I like to learn, it would be great if he was knowledgeable, at least in his religion. And when I say knowledgeable, I mean he has learned his religion to some extent and practises Insha Allah. Someone who will bring me closer to Allah and bring the best out of me and vice versa.

Apart from that, I would also hope he has good manners and is responsible (can take care of himself, etc.). And someone who has good characteristics such as understanding, generally is calm, honesty, loyal and has a good sense of humor (as an added bonus :D).
