A Little Bit About Me
So... rather than reel off a blurb of very subjective statements, I'm going to try to keep this limited to "facts" and some "reflections".

. Divorcee with 3 children Ma Shaa Allaah
. 44 yrs old (Summer 79)
. Eyes – I still cannot tell the difference between brown and hazel.
. 5'4 who loves wearing big heels!
. I am seeking a soulmate to be my companion in life through thick and thin.
. I am NOT looking for a father for my kids.... Rather a good friend and great role model for them to look upto.
. I have great cooking skills but this doesnt mean I want to be chained to the kitchen 24/7 - A healthy balance is key!
. Studied Theology and Religion at Uni - by the Grace of Allaah SWT... Its the best thing ive ever done! And would love to return to study at some point In Shaa Allaah.
. Hair colour - brown/auburn with the odd strand of a grey hair or two. Which can be easily remedied (just no real drive to do anything about it whilst im single) besides - I wear a hijaab anyway... So no biggy!
. Try to see the best in people (I can be quite gullible..) but, I’m always questioning myself…always trying my best to do right by others.
. Once I trust someone, I can become too trusting and too loyal. Cognitive bias or, my heart ruling my head? Either which way, perhaps this is my weakness.
. Hopeless romantic - even at 44 - I still believe that true romantic love can overcome every prejudice and barrier whilst providing a happy ever after. Deluded? Naive? I’ll let you decide. To add a little caveat, I’ve also enough life experience now to know that any human relationship, most especially marriage, is not all smooth sailing and requires heaps of compromise, commitment understanding and compassion.
. Travel - For one reason or another, I've not travelled as much as I would have liked. It is my opinion that most humans aspire to travel should their circumstances allow it. So should by the Grace of Allaah SWT my circumstances ever allow, I would love to see more of the world, especially Muslim heritage, ideally with my better half at my side. I'd also love to preform Hajj as a couple – In Shaa Allaah.
. Procrastinator - especially when it comes to ironing and gardening - With a bit of love, im sure I can overcome both without too much difficulty. Currently, I've trained my kids well!
. Intermittent (and very reluctant) gym goer - but once again would be easily overcome if we excerised together!
- Oooooooh and by default, I am a very happy person, so may struggle with grumpy people... So sorry!

What I Am Looking For
To make a real connection with someone whom I will feel “Truly Madly Deeply” about and hopefully he will be "head over heals" for me. I don't think such a connection is rational and nor is it so prescriptive that it can be condensed down to a shopping list of attributes (eg height, race, education, income and social status..). Im also not naive to the challenges of marriage. It is a relationship which needs to be nurtured in order for it to be successful.

I am however hoping;
To find my very best friend who is the coolness of my eyes (25:74) whilst bringing my soul comfort and peace. I pray that I can become for him everything that he will be for me In Shaa Allaah.
A soulmate who despite the many trials and tribulations of this world, is a cause for me to still smile and, I am also a reason for him to remain smiling.
.A teammate to work with to create a happy life and home whereby we are pleased with our maker and, we strive together to please our Lord.
. A best friend to tell me what I need to hear, offering their sincere and considered counsel. A trusted confidant who will remind me of my responsibility to all those who have rights over me. Someone to help and encourage me to be the best that I can possibly be.
But most importantly... Someone who is happy and spontaneous. Someone who can bring a bit of excitement to our lives
. Ideally with good job/career prospects-but this is not essential.
. Please note: I am attracted to intelligent people!
. And you will have to be somewhat energetic, spontaneous adventurous and able to have fun...
