A Little Bit About Me
Thanks for stopping to read my profile; hopefully you’ll find some of what I have to say interesting….

So a little about me… I’d say I am a grounded, but fun loving individual with a close knit circle of friends and family who mean a lot to me. I live in North London and work in advertising as a Director.

When asked why I have not married as yet, my stock answer is the fact that I may have focused a bit too much on work and I have been very blessed in this regard.

I am conscious that so far this profile is coming across as quite serious - and although it is heartfelt – personality wise I would describe myself as an equal mix of an intro and extrovert. I am perfectly comfortable spending time on my own reading and trying out new recipes - some of which turn out better than others. But equally I come to life in the company of others and love spending time with my friends trying new restaurants in London, catching a film, updating my own ‘fashion cupboard’ and occasionally coming in last in my weekly running club.

I also wanted to say that I love laughing and so a good sense of humour and ability to give good banter is a must.

What I Am Looking For
In terms of what I am looking for…although I may come across as western on first meeting, it is very important to me to settle down with someone from a similar background to my own. My parents have raised my brother and myself with core Islamic values, something which we both respect and follow.

I'm interested in hearing back from anyone who like myself has a real balance of Eastern and Western values, is a true gentleman but knows how important it is to have a shared sense of fun and general approach to life.

Looks are important to a certain extent, but my real requirement is someone who is confident in whom they are and has the confidence to allow me to be who I am, but also let me look after them. I in turn promise never to try out any dodgy recipes on you and to always make you laugh.

London based (I'm the only sibling in the UK and so need to be near my folks. They are pretty fantastic so it's not a burden or hardship.

Also if you see me looking at your profile a fair few times. I'm not stalking/obsessed. I just tend to forget who's messaged me and have to look back.
