A Little Bit About Me
I am a 23 year old revert looking for a a good man to be my husband. I am a teacher. I love to be around children. I love reading and learning. I do not place myself within a particular sect. I like to acquire knowledge from all schools of thought as I believe Islam is logical and moderate religion for all times and cultures.

I am patient and laid back. I’m into my books... I am Content with the simple things in life alhumdullilah. I’m not looking for someone who is perfect. There is no such thing. I’m looking for someone who is willing to compromise as I am compromising. Someone who is willing to talk through problems and someone who is willing to laugh and smile with me as we learn more about our deen and practice together.

My family is also very important in my life. I do have muslim family but my parents are not Muslim... for this reason it is essential for me to find someone who is willing to be sensitive and accepting of my non Muslim family As they have been accepting and sensitive with me. Alhumdullilah

What are you expectations from a wife? I observe hijab but don’t feel that niqab is necessary although I have a very high respect for the amazing women who choose to wear it. How important is your cultural practice to you? What school of thought do you follow if any? I would like someone who at least has the intention to pray 5 times a day if you do not already do that.

I am very active and go to the gym to weight train around 3-4 times a week
