A Little Bit About Me
Right, let's update this!

I've recently joined Single Muslim as I've just ended a long term relationship that I thought would lead on to marriage. However as hard as we plan, Allah also plans.

I consider myself a liberal, modern and outgoing person. I do not generally fall into any stereotype or pigeon-hole that some people seem to identify themselves in, which could be a good or bad thing?! I am well read in Islam, however I do not feel there is a compulsion in religion just for the sake of it. I am spiritual and believe we will all return to God one day so it would be best to conduct your life with that in mind, no matter how fallible we all are. This gives me a very open minded outlook on life, whereby I do not see somebody as 'Arab, Pakistani, Indian etc' rather - just human.

This may sound a bit wishy washy, but I guess that's because I've had a very unique upbringing and exposed to many different cultures whilst growing up.

Ok - that's the boring stuff over LOL

I'm quite fun, into music (mos-def, Lauryn hill, Kendrick Lamar) and enjoy travelling as much as possible. I play football and tennis and a big F1 fan. If I am not doing any of the above, then you may catch me in a restaurant somewhere in London exploring the amazing different cuisines this city has to offer.

I work in the City during the week, and on the weekends I try to cram in as many activities as possible (gets more difficult as you get older!)

What I Am Looking For
