Still searching for that one person wanting a 'normal' married life based on mutual respect, companionship and compassion. I am NOT looking for toxic, confrontational, antagonistic, walking-on-eggshell kind of relationship. Not into playing emotional/psychological games as all that leads to is misery then divorce. Don't ever want to go through that again. Please be honest to yourself and to me, as trust is the crux and foundation of building a strong healthy marriage. Absolutely, HATE fighting, arguing, shouting, drama. Disagreements ought to be handled with respect and consideration. I am looking for a simple, peaceful, joyful life with someone, growing old together having that emotional, physical and spiritual connection. I am a non-traditional muslim meaning I follow the koran only but not hadiths. I am not into rituals and am not sunni, shia, etc. I am not 'religious' as people understand and practice religion to be. I practice my "Islam" by striving to live a righteous life. I am very romantic but fornication is a sin and not looking for that.
After work, I go to the gym and keep myself busy with hobbies. It would be nice to share moments with someone - traveling, museum, cafe, dining out, fishing, movies, just about anything.

- Someone without children. Yes, I like to have children but I am 40 and only getting older. If you definitely want to have children, then I am not the one.
- Someone mature, says what he means and means what he says, has a positive attitude, laid back, having a good sense of humor, is just fun loving and likes to keep life simple.
